Preston - situated halfway between London and Edinburgh - is a large Victorian station which joins the east and west coasts. The current building was built in 1880 and offers period details and hidden features.
Although the station has 9 functioning platforms, only 8 are in regular use so a spare platform is available, giving crews more flexibility than usual, for maximum control, consider our disused platforms which are also located at the site.
Applications for Preston require the completion and submission of a specific Virgin method statement template, downloadable here.
