Stockport station is on the mainline between London and Manchester and although built in 1843, it has had several makeovers in the intervening years.
Today - with six platforms - it has up to 30 trains per hour with the majority starting or terminating in Manchester. Stockport has an impressive glass covered concourse, and many interesting exits and staircases. A great, mid-sized, film-friendly station.
Applications for this location require the completion and submission of a specific Avanti West Coast method statement template, downloadable here.
