Stratford International Station, owned by HS1 Limited, is one of four stations along the High Speed route.
Designed to accommodate visitors during the 2012 Olympics, the station concourse is bright and surprisingly large and can easily double as a European or East Asian railway station. With its contemporary look, Stratford International is unlike any other station on the network. Two of the extremely long platforms, though busy are passing trains, are effectively disused so can offer a greater amount of control.
The station also has a large multi-storey car park, ideal for filming and is located next door to the Westfield shopping complex.
Previous projects include: GameFace series 2 (Roisin Conaty, 2019).
Applications for this location require the completion and submission of a specific HS1 risk assessment & method statement template, downloadable here.
